Maremma Livestock Guardian Dogs

We produce just a few Maremma Sheepdog litters each year. True working dogs, our Maremma are raised with sheep and have their first exposure at a young age. We specialize in full-blood and purebred registered South Poll Cattle. This heat tolerant, fly resistant breed is a stabalized composite of four breeds: Angus, Herford, Senepol, and Barzona. Although originally bred to thrive in the hot, humid south, this extraordinary breed exhibits both a hardy constitution that is allows this breed to thrive in the deep southern United States and as far north as Minnesota. Maremma Sheepdog

Our Maremma are purebred, registered, livestock guardian dogs. They are from imported, Italian bloodlines. Large, white, livestock guardian dogs, they are loyal dogs and excellent defenders against large predators. Far less inclined to wander than many livestock guardian dogs, Maremma Sheepdogs will often reduce your predation loss by a surprising amount when compared to other common livestock guardian dog breeds. Australian White Sheep

A hair sheep breed developed in the Australia. Described as the Wagyu of the sheep world, the Australian sheep is a low maintenance (no shearing necessary), prized for their parasite resistance and efficient meat production. Superior parasite resistance means sheep can be raised with little to no chemical wormers. With a mild, superior meat flavor integrated into a fertile, hardy, fast growing animal, the Australian White is a breed posed for strong growth.

Welcome

Married for twenty-eight years (at the time this writing), many of these years were spent traveling in Christian ministry. As a family that enjoys nature and the outdoors, we have put down roots in northern Oklahoma. We have done so with the intent of participating in building a legacy here on our ranch (thank you Sarah for recently reminding Heather and I of our responsibility to build that better future). By no mere coincidence have we named our ranch Regenerative Acres. It is our desire that every aspect of our lives be marked by regeneration, both spiritually and physically. As my wife Heather often comments as she looks out our kitchen window, “Are we not like Abraham immensely blessed, given this beautiful land to possess (Gen. 15:7).
